Description
The epMotion 5075 LH is an automated liquid handling system configured for demanding, high-throughput workflows. It delivers precise pipetting across a volume span of 1 to 1000 µL. The worktable can hold up to twelve ANSI/SBS microplates and is compatible with tubes ranging from 0.5 mL to 50 mL, as well as 384-well plates. A key feature is its automatic tool exchange function, which enables the robotic arm to switch between a plate gripper, a single-channel pipetting tool, and an 8-channel pipetting tool without user intervention. An optical sensor system identifies labware, tips, and liquids on the deck. The system can be operated via its compact control panel or an optional PC. It is housed in a fully enclosed cabinet with a lockable door for containment. This instrument is suited for a diverse array of applications, including serial dilutions, reagent dispensing, sample transfer and plate reformatting, cell culture media changes, sample pooling, and the setup of PCR, cell-based assays, and immunoassays. The overall dimensions of the unit are 107 cm in width, 61 cm in depth, and 67 cm in height.
