Description

Master Bond's EP29LPSP is a two-part epoxy adhesive system formulated for use in severe cryogenic conditions. It retains its structural integrity and bonding performance at temperatures down to 4 Kelvin, capable of withstanding thermal cycling between ambient and liquid helium temperatures. The compound is qualified to NASA standards for low outgassing, making it appropriate for vacuum and space-related applications. It possesses optical clarity and serves as an electrical insulator. The low-viscosity formulation ensures thorough wetting and adhesion to a variety of materials, including metals, ceramics, glass, composites, and many plastics. This epoxy is offered in several packaging formats: half-pint, pint, quart, and gallon kits, as well as convenient premixed and frozen syringes. Once mixed, a 100-gram batch typically provides a working life of four to five hours, allowing ample time for application.
