Corning Life Sciences manufactures the Enduro Semi-Dry Blotter, an instrument designed for electrophoretic transfer of proteins from gels to membranes in Western blotting protocols. This system employs a semi-dry transfer methodology, which generally requires less buffer and shorter run times than conventional tank blotting. The apparatus is configurable to accommodate different blot dimensions, providing operational flexibility. It can process up to four small blots (8 x 8.5 cm each), two medium-sized blots (16 x 8.5 cm each), or one large blot measuring 16 x 17 cm.
