Description
The EMS Stat Data Link is a portable, multi-analyte monitoring system from Nova Biomedical, intended for use in emergency medical services and other point-of-care environments. This device performs rapid quantitative analysis of several key parameters—glucose, ketone, lactate, hemoglobin, and hematocrit—from a single, minute capillary blood sample ranging from 0.6 to 1.6 µL. Results are typically available within seconds. Operation utilizes individually packaged, pre-calibrated test strips. A significant feature is its integrated data management system, which can store up to 1000 patient test results, 200 quality control records, and profiles for 3000 patients and 8000 operators. The unit supports data connectivity for transfer to external systems, facilitating integration into clinical workflows. A variant offering data storage without transmission capabilities is also produced. It should be noted that this analyzer is not currently marketed for sale within the United States or Canada.
