Leica Microsystems' EM ACE200 is a compact, benchtop vacuum coater that operates automatically to apply conductive layers to samples. It prepares non-conductive specimens for scanning electron microscopy (SEM) by depositing thin, uniform films of materials such as gold, platinum, or carbon.
