ELISA Workcell

Description

The ELISA Workcell is an integrated workstation designed to automate the preparation steps of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay protocols. Its core component is a multichannel pipettor, which can be equipped with either a 50 µL or 200 µL pipette head. This pipettor moves liquid between different modules positioned on a shared deck. The standard configuration includes nests for microplates, with capacity for 4, 6, 8, or 10 plates. It is compatible with 96-well and 384-well microplate formats, along with various reagent reservoirs and vials. The workstation dimensions are approximately 22 inches wide by 31.3 inches deep by 20.5 inches high. Its function is to streamline liquid handling tasks such as reagent dispensing, serial dilutions, and plate washing, thereby increasing throughput and reproducibility for ELISA and similar plate-based assays.
