Description

The ElectroForce 3500 series from TA Instruments consists of mechanical testing instruments offered in several base configurations for fatigue and dynamic characterization. The model 3510 provides a 7.5 kN force rating and features its linear motor mounted in the upper crosshead, a design suitable for integration with temperature-controlled baths. The model 3520 also offers 7.5 kN of force but has its linear motor installed in the lower baseplate. For applications requiring higher force, the model 3550 delivers a 15 kN capacity. These systems can perform tests across a wide frequency range and are characterized by quiet, air-cooled operation, making them appropriate for clean-room settings. An optional torsional motor, available in 49 Nm or 70 Nm ratings, can be added to enable multi-axial testing.
