Description

The Eco Line Ductless Fume Hood is a benchtop containment cabinet that provides operator protection from chemical vapors without the need for external exhaust ductwork. Its main construction material is 8 mm welded polypropylene, chosen for its resistance to a wide range of chemicals. Airflow is generated by an EC motor fan, maintaining a consistent face velocity of 0.5 meters per second, with a tolerance of ±0.1 m/s (equivalent to 100 ±20 feet per minute). Contaminated air is purified through an internal filtration system typically comprising HEPA and activated carbon filters. The unit features a tempered glass sliding sash with a maximum opening height of 200 mm (8 inches). Standard equipment includes an analog control for power and fan speed adjustment, along with an integrated LED work light. Available in several widths (approximately 29.5, 35.4, and 47.2 inches), this fume hood is often considered a cost-effective solution for educational laboratories, small-scale research facilities, and procedures involving acids and standard solvents.
