EASY-Spray Nano & Capillary Emitters from Thermo Fisher Scientific are electrospray ionization sources designed to interface nano- or capillary-scale liquid chromatography systems with compatible mass spectrometers. They facilitate the stable introduction of low-flow eluents, simplifying setup by avoiding the complexities often associated with conventional spray needles. These emitters are offered in two main designs: one for direct column connection and another that incorporates an integrated transfer line for greater flexibility in system configuration. Their primary application is in sensitive separations of proteins and peptides using nanoLC or capillary LC techniques prior to mass spectrometric analysis.
