Description
The EA8000 combines X-ray transmission imaging with X-ray fluorescence analysis in a single instrument to rapidly detect and identify metal contaminants detrimental to lithium-ion battery performance. It scans 100 times faster than other methods, detecting 20 µm particles over a 200×250 mm area in 30 minutes. Advanced XRF polycapillary optics provide a highly focused X-ray beam capable of analyzing metal particles beneath the surface. Suitable for raw material testing, process control, and failure analysis in battery manufacturing.
