DynaPro Plate Reader 4 Dynamic Light Scattering Instrument
Manufacturer: Waters | Wyatt Technology
SKU: DynaPro Plate Reader 4
Description
The DynaPro Plate Reader 4 is a high-throughput dynamic light scattering (DLS) instrument configured for the automated screening of macromolecules and nanoparticles. It measures key parameters including hydrodynamic size, concentration, aggregation state, and sample stability. The system enables fully automated operation; after loading samples, measurements proceed without further user intervention. It is compatible with standard disposable well plates in 96, 384, or 1536-well formats. For integration into larger automated systems, the instrument can be connected to plate handlers and liquid-handling robots. Typical measurement times range from 5 to 60 seconds per well. Analysis is performed using an 830 nm laser, and the system can characterize particles within a size range of 0.5 nanometers to 1000 nanometers. The instrument's physical dimensions are 36 cm in width, 60 cm in depth, and 25 cm in height. This platform is well-suited for rapidly screening processing or formulation conditions, particularly in fields like biopharmaceutical development.
