DUH-211 Hardness Testers

Description

The DUH-211 from Shimadzu is a micro-indentation hardness tester used for detailed material property analysis. It applies a controlled electromagnetic test force, adjustable from 0.1 to 1961 mN, to drive a diamond indenter into a sample. By precisely measuring the resulting indentation depth, which can reach up to 10 micrometers, the instrument calculates parameters such as dynamic hardness, indentation elastic modulus, and the work of plastic and elastic deformation. It supports several testing methodologies, including Micro Compression, Vickers, Koop, Load-Unload, and Cyclic testing. Data acquisition and system control are managed via a PC interface equipped with two PCI slots. The instrument's design facilitates compliance with ISO 14577-1 Annex A, supporting standardized material evaluation across its wide force range.
