Description
The Organomation Dual Microplate MULTIVAP® is a nitrogen blowdown evaporation system engineered for high-volume sample processing. It is configured to handle two standard 96-well microplates at the same time, significantly increasing throughput. Evaporation is achieved by directing a controlled flow of nitrogen gas over samples positioned on a heated aluminum block. This method provides a gentle, uniform process for removing solvents. The digital interface allows precise temperature control up to 120°C, accommodating a wide range of solvents. An integrated timer enables semi-automated operation, with automatic shut-off of heat and gas at the cycle's end. A spring-assisted hoist smoothly raises and lowers the gas manifold for simultaneous control over both plates. This instrument is applicable in numerous fields, including environmental monitoring, pesticide analysis, lipidomics, metabolomics, cannabis testing, food and beverage QC, forensic toxicology, and pharmaceutical research. For specific applications such as PFAS analysis, configurations with acid-resistant, Teflon-free, and unheated components are offered as alternatives to the standard heated model.
