Description

This UV-Vis spectrophotometer from DeNovix, the DS-7, is engineered to offer fundamental analytical performance with an emphasis on value. It features a broad wavelength range from 190 to 840 nm with an accuracy of 1 nm and can perform a full spectrum scan in about 8 seconds. The instrument supports 1 µL microvolume measurements and includes an optional cuvette mode for traditional absorbance readings. Its measurement ranges cover common biomolecular assays, including double-stranded DNA from 2 to 15,000 ng/µL and BSA protein from 0.1 to 450 mg/mL. The DS-7 incorporates features for real-time sample optimization to help minimize measurement errors. Designed for ease of use, it operates without needing routine recalibration and provides standard data export capabilities. The model is available as the DS-7 and DS-7+.
