Dry Block Heaters

Description

Glas-Col dry block heaters are compact benchtop units designed for precise temperature control of small liquid volumes in standard SBS-format well plates. These heaters utilize an aluminum heating block and a digital PID controller with auto-tuning to maintain setpoints from just above ambient temperature up to 125°C, with a typical stability of ±2°C. The controller accepts thermocouple input for accurate temperature monitoring. Available in several catalog numbers (099A HBC12, HBC24, HBC123, HBC243), the models differ in block configuration and physical dimensions, which are approximately 5-3/4 by 4-1/2 by 6-3/4 inches or 5-1/2 by 4-1/2 by 13 inches. The standard block chamber accommodates both low- and high-profile microplates, providing a flexible tool for incubation, heating, or evaporation steps in sample processing.
