Description

VELP Scientific's DK Series offers semi-automatic digestion units for laboratory sample preparation. These systems are used in procedures such as Kjeldahl nitrogen determination, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) analysis, and trace heavy metal testing. Six distinct models are available to suit different sample batch sizes, from the compact DK 6 to the larger DK 42/26. Construction utilizes a stainless steel frame for robustness and resistance to chemical exposure. Heating is provided by an aluminum block engineered for uniform temperature distribution and energy efficiency. A protective grid covers the heating block to guard against spills. The units feature a low-profile design intended to optimize space within a fume hood. Applications are broad, encompassing the pharmaceutical, chemical, environmental, agricultural, feed, and food and beverage industries. Operational temperature can reach up to 450 °C (842 °F), depending on the specific model.
