Description

DISTRITIPS are single-use, positive-displacement syringes manufactured specifically for use with the Gilson DISTRIMAN repetitive pipette. They enable the pipette to operate across its full volume range of 1 µL to 1.25 mL; only three different DISTRITIPS are needed to cover this entire spectrum. Each syringe includes a level indicator and is engineered to dispense more than 100 aliquots before depletion, minimizing interruptions during repetitive dispensing workflows. The tips are produced from pure, dye-free polypropylene and are certified to be free of detectable contaminants including DNA, RNases, DNases, RNA, and proteases. They are supplied sterilized by gamma irradiation and are individually packaged. This design makes them appropriate for handling challenging liquids such as viscous, volatile, hazardous, or hot/cold samples, while aiming to prevent chemical carryover or contamination.
