Description

The Distek Model 2500 is a configurable dissolution instrument designed for flexibility in quality control and research and development settings. It can be configured as USP Apparatus 1, 2, 5, or 6, and also supports intrinsic dissolution studies. The system accommodates from one to eight vessels, with vessel volumes ranging from 100 mL (using a conversion kit) up to 2 liters. It offers a paddle/basket speed range of 30 to 300 rpm and a bath temperature range from ambient to 55°C, controlled by a self-priming water circulator. Operation is centered on a color touchscreen interface for method programming, execution, and reporting. Instrument features include automatic height adjustment for quick changeover between paddles and baskets, electronic qualification reminders, and programmable wake/sleep modes.
