Dimatix Materials Printer DMP-2850

Description

The DMP-2850 from FUJIFILM Dimatix is a benchtop inkjet deposition system for research and development in areas such as printed electronics, photovoltaics, and life sciences. It deposits functional fluid materials, including nanoparticle-based inks, onto substrates using single-use, user-fillable cartridges to minimize waste of experimental materials. The printer handles substrates up to 210 mm by 315 mm for those thinner than 0.5 mm, or 210 mm by 260 mm for substrates with a thickness between 0.5 mm and 25 mm. The unit itself measures 673 mm wide, 584 mm deep, and 419 mm high, with a weight of 50.7 kg. Its primary function is to facilitate the prototyping and testing of inkjet formulations and deposition patterns for novel devices.
