Description

The Glas-Col Digital Rotator is a benchtop instrument for rotational mixing in laboratory settings. It employs a brushless motor and microprocessor control to provide a speed range of 5 to 83 rpm, adjustable in 0.1 rpm increments via a four-button membrane interface. A four-line backlit LCD displays speed and timer settings, with a programmable digital timer that can be set in seconds, minutes, or hours. The unit features a fixed platform measuring 17 by 16 inches, angled at 20 degrees to maintain sample visibility during operation. This platform can hold various tubes and vials, and custom heads are offered for specialized containers, with a single thumbscrew enabling quick head changes. Designed for continuous duty, the rotator has a compact, stable base. A USB port is included for optional connection to computer software for remote control and data logging.
