Description

Glas-Col's Digital Pulse Mixer with Evaporator/Concentrator is an integrated system designed to accelerate solvent evaporation and sample concentration. It combines pulsed vortex mixing with controlled heating and gas flow. The vortex action, adjustable from 150 to 800 rpm, cyclically throws a solvent film onto vial walls to increase surface area for evaporation. Heating is applied through sample blocks, with a maximum temperature of 105°C, and a gas manifold set at 80°C that delivers nitrogen to individual sample positions. The system includes a programmable timer and features an orbital offset of 0.070 inches. The top and drive plates are coated with chemical-resistant foam for protection.
