Corning Life Sciences manufactures the Deluxe ProBlot Hybridization Systems, which are specialized ovens for molecular biology blotting procedures. These include Southern, Northern, and Western blot protocols that require controlled incubation of membranes with probes or antibodies. Temperature uniformity within the chamber is maintained by a mechanical convection system. The adjustable temperature range spans from 5°C above the ambient room temperature up to 80°C, accommodating various hybridization and stringency wash steps. The internal space can hold as many as twelve standard hybridization bottles, allowing for concurrent processing of multiple samples. With external dimensions of approximately 48.3 cm in width, 44.5 cm in depth, and 49.5 cm in height, the unit is designed for placement on a laboratory benchtop. This system is engineered to provide consistent and reliable performance for nucleic acid and protein hybridization workflows.
