Description
The DASGIP Parallel Bioreactor Systems from Eppendorf North America are configurable platforms intended for research and bioprocess development. They enable the parallel operation of as many as sixteen individual bioreactors, which may be configured with either autoclavable glass vessels or pre-sterilized single-use assemblies. These systems accommodate both cell culture and microbiology applications, with vessel capacities including 1 L, 1.5 L, 2.5 L, and 3.5 L variants. The operational working volume typically spans from 0.2 to 3.8 liters. Parameters such as agitation, dissolved oxygen, pH, and level can be precisely controlled, with support for custom control strategies. Liquid additions are managed by variable-speed pumps, allowing for batch, fed-batch, continuous, and perfusion modes of operation. Temperature regulation is provided by a dedicated Bioblock unit. The modular nature permits customization of control units and vessel types to suit specific research needs, ranging from microbial fermentation and phototrophic studies to mammalian cell culture and stem cell research.
