DASbox with Single-Use Vessels

Description

Eppendorf's DASbox system is a compact, modular platform for parallel cultivation experiments. It employs disposable vessels with working volumes from 65 to 250 milliliters, which removes the requirement for cleaning and autoclaving between experimental runs. The fundamental architecture is built around a four-unit module, and multiple modules can be combined to scale up throughput. This design facilitates efficient process development and optimization by enabling multiple conditions to be tested simultaneously. The use of single-use components significantly lowers the potential for cross-contamination and accelerates setup times. The platform is compatible with DASware control software for automated operation and data logging. It is applicable for small-scale cultivation studies involving microbial, mammalian, and other cell types.
