DASbox® Mini Bioreactor System

Description

Eppendorf's DASbox Mini Bioreactor System is a parallel cultivation platform for bioprocess development. The system is modular, with a base unit supporting four bioreactor stations, and multiple units can be combined to run up to 24 vessels simultaneously. This design facilitates high-throughput experiments for process optimization and scale-down studies. Each vessel has a total capacity of 250 mL, with a working volume range from 60 to 250 mL, allowing for efficient use of cell cultures and reagents. Vessels are either autoclavable or available as pre-sterilized, single-use options. Temperature control is achieved through individual Peltier elements for each vessel, and a matching Peltier-based exhaust condenser operates without requiring external coolant. The compact design requires approximately 7.5 cm of bench width per vessel. The system provides precise control over cultivation parameters and is compatible with applications involving microbial, mammalian, and stem cell cultures.
