Description

The Cytek Muse Micro Cell Analyzer is a compact, benchtop instrument for rapid cell counting and viability assessment. It employs microcapillary cytometry to measure cell concentration and viability from very small sample volumes, typically around 20 microliters. Operation is designed for simplicity, featuring a largely push-button workflow that yields results in seconds. Data, including cell concentration in cells per milliliter and percentage viability, is displayed on an integrated touchscreen. Its small footprint allows for placement in confined spaces such as laminar flow hoods. This analyzer provides an automated alternative to manual hemocytometer counting, offering a reproducible method for routine cell culture quality control tasks like monitoring cell health before subculturing or experiments.
