Description

The Cytek Aurora is a full-spectrum flow cytometer that analyzes fluorescence by capturing the complete emission signature of each fluorophore. This spectral method minimizes spillover between channels and allows for the simultaneous detection of a high number of markers from a single sample, often using a simpler laser setup than conventional cytometers. The system configuration includes three scatter detectors (forward scatter and two side scatter parameters) and can support up to 64 high-resolution fluorescent detectors. Its sensitivity is achieved through computational spectral unmixing, which distinguishes between fluorophores with similar emissions. This capability supports complex experimental designs in fields like immunology and oncology. Integrated software assists with panel design, data acquisition, and analysis, providing a streamlined workflow for generating reproducible, high-dimensional data from cell populations.
