Cytek's Aurora Evo is a spectral flow cytometer built for high-parameter cellular analysis with an emphasis on sensitivity and workflow efficiency. The system captures the full emission spectrum from fluorochromes, which allows for detailed spectral unmixing. This technology reduces fluorescence spillover and enables the design of complex multicolor panels using dyes with closely spaced emission peaks. A key technical feature is its enhanced sensitivity for detecting small particles; its violet side scatter (SSC) detector is capable of resolving particles as small as 70 nanometers. This makes the instrument suitable for advanced applications requiring detailed immunophenotyping or the analysis of vesicles and other small biological structures.
