CyBio Well vario

Description

The CyBio Well vario from Analytik Jena is a modular automated pipetting system centered on a base unit that accepts different multi-channel pipetting heads. These heads, configured for 96, 384, or 1536 channels, can be exchanged at the front or rear of the instrument and are automatically recognized without necessitating recalibration. The system performs both wet pipetting (50 nL to 250 µL) and dry pipetting (200 nL to 250 µL). This versatility supports numerous applications, including plate reformatting, replication, biochemical assays, ADME and cytotoxicity testing, compound management, and cell handling procedures. It is compatible with shallow and deep well microplates in 96, 384, and 1536-well formats. The accompanying CyBio Composer software assists in application setup and immediately detects any newly installed pipetting head. A key technical aspect is the pipetting technology engineered to minimize the risk of cross-contamination. The instrument's dimensions are 284 mm in width, 795 mm in depth, and 370 mm in height, not including an optional plate moving assembly.
