Description

Analytik Jena's CyBio FeliX is a compact, automated pipetting robot built on a modular architecture to provide adaptable liquid handling. The system comprises a base unit and interchangeable multi-channel pipetting heads, which the instrument automatically identifies upon attachment. It accommodates a broad volume range from 1 µL to 1000 µL and works with disposable tips for 24, 96, and 384-well plate formats. The deck layout features twelve positions across two tiers, allowing for the placement of microplates, reagent reservoirs, tube racks, and modular accessories such as a shaker within a relatively small footprint. This design enables customization for specific assay workflows and easy reconfiguration. The pipetting head incorporates a mechanism for automatic adapter switching and includes an integrated gripper for moving plates. With an approximate weight of 50 kg (excluding the pipetting head), the CyBio FeliX is engineered to deliver precise, automated liquid transfers suitable for various research and screening applications.
