Description

The Cutting Mill SM 300 from Verder Scientific is a laboratory mill designed for the size reduction of a broad range of challenging materials. It is suitable for processing soft, medium-hard, tough, elastic, or fibrous samples, including those from agriculture, biology, plastics, electronics, recycling, food, and pharmaceuticals. The mill operates on a shearing and cutting principle, utilizing a 3 kW drive system with an integrated flywheel to generate high torque for efficient grinding. The rotational speed is adjustable from 700 to 3000 rpm. It accommodates interchangeable bottom sieves with aperture sizes from 0.25 to 20 mm. The design includes a fold-back hopper and smooth surfaces for easier cleaning, along with safety features like an engine brake and electronic monitoring. The overall dimensions are 576 mm wide by 1677 mm high by 750 mm deep when equipped with the base frame and universal hopper.
