CQL Narc-ID Handheld 1064 nm Raman Analyzer

Manufacturer: Rigaku Corporation

SKU: CQL Narc-ID

Description

The CQL Narc-ID from Rigaku Corporation is a portable Raman analyzer designed for the presumptive identification of narcotics, precursor chemicals, and cutting agents. It utilizes a 1064 nm excitation laser, a wavelength that minimizes fluorescence interference from colored or adulterated samples, enabling analysis even through some packaging materials. The spectrometer incorporates a thermoelectrically cooled InGaAs detector with 512 pixels, covering a spectral range from 200 to 2500 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of approximately 6 to 13 cm⁻¹. An onboard spectral library contains reference data for over 1,100 substances. The device can deconvolute mixtures containing up to five components and includes a 5-megapixel camera for sample documentation. Engineered for field deployment, it has an IP68 rating and meets MIL-STD-810G standards for ruggedness. Operation is supported by a rechargeable 7.2 V lithium-ion battery providing over five hours of use. User interaction is facilitated through a combination of touchscreen and physical buttons, with data connectivity via USB and Wi-Fi. Optional add-ons include a trace detection module and software for fleet management.
