CQL Max-ID Handheld 1064 nm Raman Analyzer

Manufacturer: Rigaku Corporation

SKU: CQL Max-ID

Description

The CQL Max-ID from Rigaku Corporation is a handheld Raman analyzer for the identification of unknown chemical substances in field settings. It employs 1064 nm laser excitation to reduce sample fluorescence, enabling analysis of dark or contaminated materials and allowing scans through certain containers. The spectrometer has a spectral range of 200 to 2500 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of approximately 6-13 cm⁻¹, utilizing a TE-cooled InGaAs detector. A key feature is its extensive onboard library, which contains more than 13,000 entries, including toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), chemical warfare agents (CWAs), explosives, narcotics, and precursors. The rugged device is rated to IP68 and MIL810G standards, weighs 1.7 kg, and includes a 5MP camera, touchscreen interface, and wireless connectivity. Designed for use by military, hazmat, and border security personnel, analysis is typically completed in less than a minute. This model is part of the platform selected for the U.S. Department of Defense JPEO DR SKO System Modernization Program.
