CosMx™ Spatial Molecular Imager

Manufacturer: Bruker Spatial Biology

Description

The CosMx Spatial Molecular Imager is a platform for highly multiplexed spatial analysis of intact tissue sections. It employs a cyclic fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) method to simultaneously profile RNA and protein expression. The technology can detect up to 1000 RNA targets and 100 protein targets, delivering data at subcellular resolution. This capability allows for the mapping of gene expression patterns across entire tissue samples, down to the level of individual cells and organelles. The system is applied in spatial biology research to investigate cellular heterogeneity, tissue architecture, and microenvironmental contexts in fields such as oncology, neuroscience, and immunology.
