Corning® Vacuum Aspirator

Description

Corning's benchtop vacuum aspirator is designed for the removal of liquid supernatants in laboratory procedures. It creates a vacuum to draw fluids through attached pipets or disposable tips. The unit accommodates pipets with a 2 mL capacity and can also be used with disposable pipet tips for volumes from 1 to 200 µL. Its primary application is the safe aspiration of liquids from vessels such as cell culture flasks or microplates, helping to limit cross-contamination risks. A collection flask is typically integrated to contain aspirated waste. This instrument is frequently employed in cell biology and microbiology labs for tasks including media exchange and sample washing.
