Description

Intended for high-content imaging applications, this microplate features a half-area 96-well layout. Its construction pairs a black, tissue culture-treated cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) frame with a clear glass bottom. The black walls are designed to minimize autofluorescence and optical crosstalk, and the glass base provides excellent light transmission for detailed cellular observation. The wells are pre-coated with Poly-D-Lysine, a synthetic polymer that creates a positively charged surface to enhance the attachment of sensitive adherent cells, including many neuronal primary cultures. The plate is supplied as a single unit complete with a lid.
