Description

This sterile microplate is configured in a standard 96-well format and is intended for cell culture applications where adhesion to the plate surface is undesirable. Its wells feature a round-bottom geometry and are treated with a covalently bonded hydrogel polymer. This specialized coating creates an ultra-low attachment surface that minimizes protein binding and cellular adherence. It is therefore appropriate for the cultivation of suspension cultures, including stem cell aggregates and three-dimensional spheroids. The clear polystyrene construction allows for optical monitoring. Each plate is packaged individually with a lid to preserve sterility and is ready for use in automated liquid handling or imaging systems compatible with 96-well plates.
