This Corning product is a bulk pack containing ten sterile microplates. Each plate follows the standard 96-well format, with wells constructed from clear polystyrene and featuring a flat bottom geometry. A key characteristic is the tissue culture treatment applied to the polystyrene surface, which is intended to improve the adherence and proliferation of adherent mammalian cell lines. Each individual well has a maximum volume capacity of 360 microliters, with a typical recommended working range of 75 to 200 µL for optimal assay performance. Every plate is supplied with a matching lid to minimize evaporation and contamination risk. All ten plates and their lids are sealed together within a single sterile bag, providing a convenient supply for laboratories conducting high-volume or routine cell culture and screening procedures.
