Description
B Medical Systems' Contact Shock Freezer is an upright freezer specifically designed for the rapid freezing of blood plasma and related products. Available in models such as the CSF61L and CSF101L, it employs direct-contact plate freezing technology to maximize thermal transfer efficiency. The unit offers distinct operational modes: pre-cooling at -40°C, an active freezing cycle at -50°C, and an energy-conserving eco-mode at -43°C. Control is managed through a central 7-inch touchscreen interface. Utilizing a remote air-cooled refrigeration system, the freezer achieves high-speed performance; for example, it can freeze approximately 30 standard 350 ml plasma bags in about 23 minutes under ambient conditions of 25°C. Water-cooled versions may also be offered as an alternative configuration.
