Colour Meter PCE-CSM 7
Manufacturer: PCE Americas Inc.
SKU: PCE-CSM 7
Description
As a handheld spectral colorimeter, the PCE-CSM 7 is built for flexible use in quality assurance and research settings. Upon powering on, the device automatically executes white and black calibration routines. It is capable of measuring and displaying color values in several standardized color spaces, such as CIEL*a*b*, CIEXYZ, CIEL*u*v*, and CIEL*C*h, and can compute derived indices for yellowness, whiteness, and color fastness. Users can select from three standard illuminants (D65, D50, A) and choose between two different measuring apertures to suit various sample sizes; a built-in camera assists in precisely targeting small measurement areas. The instrument has substantial internal memory, storing up to 100 reference values and 20,000 sample measurements. It employs an 8°/d optical geometry for measurement, reporting L*a*b* values with a resolution of 0.01 across the standard ranges of 0 to 100 for L* and -128 to 127 for a* and b*. Operational temperature range is 32 to 104°F. The device is supplied with a manufacturer calibration, and an optional accessory kit is available for measuring liquid samples.
