Colour Meter PCE-CSM 1

Description

The PCE-CSM 1 is a portable colorimeter intended for basic quality control workflows. It measures color coordinates within the ranges L: 0 to 100 and a, b: -128 to 127, offering a resolution of 0.01. The instrument operates in standard color spaces including CIE L*a*b*C*h, CIE L*a*b*, and CIE XYZ. A typical use involves taking an initial reference measurement, after which subsequent sample readings are compared, with the device displaying both the individual L*, a*, b* values and the overall color difference (ΔE). Internal memory capacity allows for storage of 100 reference values and up to 20,000 sample measurements. Data transfer to a computer is enabled through a USB interface, and dedicated PC software is included with the unit. The device is designed to operate within an ambient temperature range of 32 to 104°F.
