Colorimeter PCE-CSM 25

Description

Designed for portability and field use, the PCE-CSM 25 is a handheld colorimeter for on-site color assessment and matching. It employs a D/8° measurement geometry with specular component included (SCI) to evaluate colors on glossy, matte, or textured surfaces. Operation is conducted through a user-friendly 3.5-inch touchscreen display, which is set at a 20-degree tilt for comfortable viewing. The instrument uses a full-spectrum LED light source and completes a measurement in approximately one second, with a stated repeatability of ΔE* ≤ 0.03. It supports common color spaces like CIE Lab, LCh, RGB, and CMYK, and can calculate whiteness and yellowness indices. The device stores up to 1000 standard color values and 1000 sample records internally. Data can be exported via USB or wireless connection to companion software on a computer or mobile device. Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, it is rated for up to 10,000 measurements on a single charge. Its compact design makes it applicable for tasks in paint shops, textile production, plastics manufacturing, and print quality control.
