Description

This laboratory kit combines a Cole-Parmer SHP-200-C analog stirring hot plate with a TC-200D external temperature controller, configured for 120 VAC operation. The hot plate component provides a ceramic heating surface and manual knobs for independent control of stirring and heating power. The TC-200D controller adds a layer of precision by enabling closed-loop temperature regulation. Typically, a thermocouple probe connected to the controller is placed in the sample or against the reaction vessel.
