Manufacturer: Cole-Parmer

Description

The Cole-Parmer Industrial Silicone-Filled Bimetal Thermometer is a device for measuring temperature in laboratory and process environments. It is constructed with a 3-inch dial, which provides a clear display for reading measurements. Connection to a system is facilitated by a back-mounted design. The unit incorporates a 6-inch stem, suitable for insertion into various media. Temperature measurement is possible from 50 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, with a corresponding scale from 10 to 290 degrees Celsius. A bimetal coil serves as the sensing mechanism. This coil is housed within a case filled with silicone fluid. The primary function of this fluid is to dampen vibrations, which helps stabilize the pointer and protects the internal components from moisture and corrosive elements, thereby supporting reliable operation.
