Description

The PCE-COG 10 is a portable instrument for detecting and measuring ambient levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) and carbon monoxide (CO). It displays simultaneous readings for both gases, plus ambient temperature and relative humidity. An internal data logger can store up to 5000 measurement points, which can be transferred to a computer in CSV format for analysis. For carbon dioxide, the device has a measuring range of 0 to 9999 parts per million (ppm) with a resolution of 1 ppm. The carbon monoxide sensor covers 0 to 1000 ppm, also with 1 ppm resolution. The unit is operational within an ambient temperature range of 32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Power can be supplied by an internal battery or via mains power, supporting extended monitoring periods. A standard 1/4-inch tripod mount is built into the housing for stable placement. This dual-gas detector is suited for evaluating indoor air quality in settings such as laboratories, workshops, and office spaces. Applications include verifying ventilation system performance, monitoring for the accumulation of combustion gases, and assessing environmental conditions as part of workplace health and safety practices.
