Description

The CM20 and CM30 systems from Evident are monitoring devices designed for use inside standard cell culture incubators. Their primary function is to enable remote observation of cell cultures, reducing the need to open the incubator door. This helps maintain stable temperature, humidity, and gas conditions while minimizing the risk of contamination. The unit is compatible with common culture vessels, including 90mm and 100mm Petri dishes, as well as 6-well and 12-well microplates. Its physical dimensions are approximately 8.35 inches in width, 14.17 inches in depth, and 2.87 inches in height, a form factor intended to fit within many standard incubator chambers. By allowing users to visually check cell growth and morphology from outside the incubator, the system supports quality control procedures and can provide documentation for experimental records.
