Description
The CLiR 5000 Series is an ultrapure water system designed for sensitive analytical and molecular biology applications. It delivers water with a resistivity of 18.2 MΩ·cm and a total organic carbon (TOC) level below 5 ppb, at a maximum flow rate of 2.5 L/min. Purification technologies include ion exchange, 0.2 micron final filtration, and optional ultraviolet oxidation and ultrafiltration modules. System operation and monitoring are managed through a programmable touch-screen interface. It is suitable for applications requiring high-purity water, such as DNA sequencing, PCR, HPLC, ion chromatography, electrophoresis, microbiology, and the production of RNase and endotoxin-free water. Installation options include countertop, wall-mount, or under-counter. Four primary models are available: the CLS-5100-S-1 base system; the CLS-5200-S-1 with UV for TOC reduction; the CLS-5300-S-1 with ultrafiltration for pyrogen removal; and the CLS-5400-S-1 equipped with both UV and ultrafiltration.
