Claisse LeNeo Fusion Instrument

Description

An electric fusion instrument, the Claisse LeNeo is used to prepare solid samples for elemental analysis. It operates at temperatures up to 1200°C to fuse samples with flux, creating homogeneous glass disks suitable for X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. The system can also prepare solutions for atomic absorption (AA) or inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometry. As a single-position unit, it automates the heating and fusion cycle, aiming to produce consistent results while incorporating safety features for the operator. The LeNeo is designed to support reliable sample preparation that contributes to the accuracy of downstream analytical measurements.
