Claisse FORJ
Manufacturer: Malvern Panalytical
SKU: FORJ
Description
The Claisse FORJ is an automated fusion instrument designed for preparing borate glass disks from solid samples, a standard preparation method for X-ray fluorescence (XRF), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), and atomic absorption (AA) analysis. It features a six-position carousel for processing multiple samples simultaneously. An optional tray loader can be added to pre-load another six samples, thereby increasing overall throughput. The instrument automates the complete fusion workflow, including weighing, flux addition, heating, swirling, and casting. This automation improves process reproducibility and reduces operator interaction with high-temperature components. Built for robustness in a production setting, the FORJ aims to deliver consistent, high-quality sample preparation, which is fundamental for obtaining accurate and reliable analytical results.
