Description

Bio-Rad's ChemiDoc Go Imaging System is a compact, benchtop instrument for capturing and analyzing images of gels and blots. It supports multiple detection modalities, including chemiluminescence, fluorescence, and colorimetric imaging, making it applicable for western blots, protein gels, and DNA gels. Image capture is handled by a back-side illuminated (BSI) CMOS camera sensor, a design intended to offer high sensitivity with reduced electronic noise. The system integrates several LED-based light sources for sample illumination: trans-UV, trans-blue, trans-amber, epi-UVA, and epi-green. This combination of camera and lighting is designed to provide a flexible, all-in-one imaging solution for routine laboratory applications within a small footprint.
